HELLCUBED is a Bullet Hell Arena FPS with a Survivors-style upgrade system made for the 2024 Bullet Hell Jam in 10 days. It placed 9th for Fun.

You wear a hi-tech mech suit with a powerful projectile weapon and various abilities including boosted movement, flying, self repair and a shield. However everything except basic ground movement consumes Energy. Destroy the enemy machines to collect the Energy they drop and replenish your reserves. You also gain XP from destroying enemies enabling you to choose an upgrade for your mech each time you level up. Can you survive 15 waves?

A successful run takes a little over 15 minutes.

FIREFOX USERS: Please note that if you toggle fullscreen using the Enter key whilst in first person (i.e. the mouse is captured) the mouse will be released and you will need to left click again to recapture it.

This version of the game includes various fixes and minor enhancements compared to the version originally submitted to the jam. You can play the original jam version here and there is a post here detailing what changed between the versions.
