Sector 4096 v1.1


Now the rating period is over I have updated Sector 4096 to post jam version 1.1. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions for improvements or let me know about bugs. 

The changes in this version are:

  • There is a map on the wall near the start of the level.
  • Bottles are partially transparent when being held.
  • The interaction system has been tweaked to hopefully make it a bit easier to use the door controls and pick up items.
  • Some objects have been moved slightly to make them easier to pick up/navigate around.
  • The ball only attracts the monster when it makes the 'bounce' sound.
  • Invert mouse option added.
  • Fixed a bug where the monster couldn't see you when you were standing up behind low level obstacles.
  • Fixed a bug where held bottles smashed instantly when you knocked them into walls/doors/obstacles. They are now dropped and smash on the floor instead.
  • Fixed a bug where thrown bottles didn't smash on the top of low level obstacles.
  • Fixed a bug where the ball could pass through walls in certain circumstances.
  • Few other minor tweaks to the monster animations, monster view cone and ambience volume.
